DAVID HODGES

  • David Hodges is a Multi-Diamond, Grammy, and BMI award-winning songwriter and record producer. He was a founding member of Evanescence and has been penning hits with and for renowned artists for over two decades. Having sold more than 80 million records, his hit singles include “Bring Me To Life” and “My Immortal” (Evanescence), “A Thousand Years” (Christina Perri for Twilight), “Because of You” (Kelly Clarkson), “Dear Hate” (Maren Morris and Vince Gill), “See You Again” (Carrie Underwood), “Miss Me More” (Kelsea Ballerini), and “2Step” & “Afterglow” (Ed Sheeran). David is one of the most sought-after multi-genre songwriters in the world, with releases by Benson Boone, Perrie, LANY, Alec Benjamin, Jeremy Zucker, Keith Urban, Blink 182, Weezer, Dan + Shay, Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, and more. He is currently working with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Benson Boone, Charlie Puth, Iann Dior, James Bay, Jeremy Zucker, Alex Warren, Matt Hansen, INJI, James Arthur, YUNGBLUD, Amelia Moore and many more.

BARRY DEAN

  • Barry Dean is a Grammy-nominated Songwriter. He wrote Little Big Town’s first number one hit, “Pontoon.” His other hits include “Day Drinking” (Little Big Town), “Heartache Medication” (John Pardi), “Think a Little Less” (Michael Ray), and the Grammy-nominated “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools” (Tim McGraw). He won his first BMII Pop Award for “Girls Chase Boys” (Ingrid Michaelson) and has had cuts by Alison Krauss, Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Brothers Osborne, Meatloaf, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney. 

     

    Dean served as a Producer for the critically acclaimed “Lorraine” album for long-time collaborator Lori McKenna and the Travis Meadows indy album, “Killing Uncle Buzzy.” 

     

    Dean is a Leadership Music Alum, he has served on the NSAI board, and as a Recording Academy, Nashville Chapter Governor. 

     

    Dean is the co-founder and CEO of LUCI, a platform for as a service, physical AI.  LUCI has been awarded 26 patents and won a Fast Company World Changing Ideas award, a Popular Science Best of What’s New Award, a CES Innovation Award, and was one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions. 

JENN SCHOTT

  • Born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas,  Jenn Schott was destined to have a career in music.  It’s in her genes. Her grandfather was the concert master violinist for the CBS orchestra including the Ed Sullivan show, her father was a university professor of woodwinds, and her mother is a flutist.  After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Missouri, Jenn made the move to Nashville to pursue a career as a songwriter. 

    More than 20 years later, Jenn’s songs continue to resonate with artists in Nashville and beyond.  Jenn co-wrote Tim McGraw’s #1 hit single, “7500 OBO” which also received the coveted “10 Songs I Wish I’d Written” Award from the Nashville Songwriters Association.  She also co-wrote the title track of McGraw’s Grammy nominated album, “Two Lanes of Freedom,” which went on to be the namesake of McGraw’s 2013 summer tour.  Jenn also penned Mickey Guyton’s debut single, “Better Than You Left Me,” which was named one of Billboard’s 10 Best Country Songs of 2015. Other artists who have recorded Jenn’s songs include Rascal Flatts, The Eli Young Band, Billy Ray Cyrus, Pam Tillis, Lonestar, Gloriana, Jana Kramer, Francesca Battistelli, Natalie Hemby, Lucy Hale, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Restless Heart. 

    Jenn is an alumna of Leadership Music and proudly sits on the board of the Nashville Songwriters Association and a committee for the Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC).
